We left Worthington, Minnesota headed for Milwaukee, Wisconsin at 7:00 AM. It was very hot and humid with no rain. My tee shirt felt heavy with moisture. It started to hang on me; stretch out from the weight of the water that clinged to it from the humidity. For the first 75 miles there was thick fog. You could barely see in front of you. The pasty dew stuck to everything. Miskitos smashed onto my eyeglasses. My pantswere all wet from the dew. It was not raining. My pants around my knees were stained with dead bugs.
I was worried when we left this morning because the weather was so poor that the whole day would be terrible. When the sun burnt off the fog the ultra HD TV turned on. If this is not Gods country I don't know what is. The most beautiful country side I have ever seen (corn and soy beans)
134 miles Austin Minnesota, we are going to the Spam museum. We had a great time it was so interesting.
We are now in Wisconsin 250 miles. We traveled along the Mississippi River for approx. 50 miles. What a great sight. It is still f---ing hot.
It is not everyday that you would see a farming tractor driving down a residental street in Los Angeles. It is in Wisconsin.
Life is short so enjoy the ride.
We traveled 508 miles today.
